前回の「輸入盤DVDで英語の勉強：『天空の城ラピュタ』編」に続いて、今回は「ナウシカ」を。

『風の谷のナウシカ』の英語タイトルは、『NAUSICAA -OF THE VALLEY OF THE WIND-』です。
「ナウシカ」は「NAUSICA」ではなく「NAUSICAA」と「A」が2つ付いています。

グッときたセリフをピックアップすると、

ナウシカ：「I’m sorry. I can’t ask your forgiveness. It’s too cruel ごめんね。許してなんて言えないよね。ひどすぎるよね」

大ババ（Obaba）：「…closed in blue robes, descending onto a golden field (to join bonds with the great earth and guide the people to the pure land, at last) その者、蒼き衣を纏いて金色の野に降りたつべし（失われし大地との絆を結び、ついに人々を青き清浄の地に導かん）」
